23 May 2007

Dear Sir / Madam

I took my daughters to Loftus Versveld on Saturday, 7 May 2007 to watch the Bulls play the Stormers, as my daughters are ardent Blue bulls supporters.

The game had been going for about ten minutes when my eldest daughter Meeghan (10) was stung by a bee; she is extremely allergic and has to be rushed to hospital every time she is stung.

I took her to seek medical help, I found a security guard, who immediately got on his radio and called the paramedics who were there in minutes.  They suggested we take her to the clinic under the west stand.  On arrival we were met by such friendly and competent staff, who took care of her in no time.

I would just like to comment Loftus Versveld, on having such competent staff and I would like to give my sincere thanks to the security, paramedics and medical staff.

Meeghans reaction to the bee sting was controlled by the medical staff and she suffered no long term effects from the bee sting.

Thank you!

Yours sincerely

Monique Scheffer

PS: thank you for the television in the clinic, at least I got to see the Bulls great win!!!!!

Dear Alan,

WILRO 100 CHARITY CYCLE RACE – 15 APRIL 2007

May I take this opportunity to thank you most sincerely for the medical assistance you and your team provided at our annual Wilro 100 Charity Cycle Race. The staff and everyone involved on the day are to be commended for their professionalism and through their help and assistance, contributed to the success that it was.

Without your assistance we could not have had this race, which has raised much needed funds for Charity for which we thank you.

This was the ninth time that the Lions Club of Wilro Park and Westgate Wheelers has organised the Wilro 100. We are very happy and proud to announce that the race has grown from strength to strength and with your help we can grow it even further. This year we are please to advise that both DSTV

(SuperCycling) and SABC 3 (Pedal Talk) were in attendance to film the race for TV.

The success of this race is made possible by the support of our sponsors, marshals and volunteers and of course all the participants on the day.

Yours Sincerely,

LION SYDNEY VAN HEERDEN
CHAIRMAN – WILRO 100 CHARITY CYCLE CHALLANGE

St Stithians Parents Hockey Association

Dear Alan

St Stithians Easter Hockey Festival 2007

On behalf of St Stithians College, and the Hockey Parents Association we’d like to thank you for your valued support for our Hockey Festival.

After a year of planning the 2007 Festival is behind us – and we will commence shortly with the planning phase of the 2008 Festival!

Without your support it is impossible to create the vibe and indeed the opportunity for some not so fortunate, at our Festival.  This year saw some spirited hockey and the strength improves year on year.  Our local, national and international guests have all commented on the slick organization the festival atmosphere that embraced the astro over the weekend.  Your team – although not kept too busy (thankfully!!!) were a great plus – Thank you!

We wish you well over the coming months and certainly hope to see you again in 2008!

Kind regards

Craig Staveley
Chairman, St Stithians Hockey Parents Association
