ER24 is proud to extend its services and support for the benefit of the community. In addition to providing a medical standby service at events, ER24 is involved in various charity endeavors and the promotion of causes throughout the country.
We believe in educating both children and adults alike about safety and what to do in case of an emergency. This is done via our website, company and school visits, and a host of other events.
Community Education
Langeberg Mall Project
ER24 Southern Cape branch were involved in a project to educate the public on healthy living. This was done by taking about 150 b/ps and 140 hgts. The event was broadcast on Eden FM the previous day as well as on the day testimony from shoppers was also broadcast live on air.
Part of ER24’s success is their involvement with the community on a frequent basis and connecting with the community through projects such as these.
Adopt a Cause
Life Entabeni Hospital - Heart Transplant
The Life Entabeni Hospital have a wellness walk once a month and all walkers have to wear red T/shirts. The off duty dispatcher as well as myself participated in this walk being about 5km. We get to meet patients that have had transplants done. Next month there is a 10km fun walk and again we will be walking with these patients, giving them moral support, its great fun.
