It is a common fact that accidents can and do happen at any time, and one small incident can cause a ripple effect, which can result in disaster at an event. An ER24 Special Event Management team will set up an on-site medical care and incident management post that will form an integral aspect of successful event coordination. Legislation already exists in countries like the UK to establish medical and incident management systems to be on standby at events, and this is currently being implemented in South Africa.
Public and sporting events will soon need to have a medical crew with equipment, vehicles and an incident infrastructure on standby for the full duration of the event

The Special Events Management team assigned to your event will ensure that staff, equipment and vehicles are available to you on the day. This will enable ER24 to confidently handle any incident that may arise. At large events, a trauma centre or command post will be set up in order to ensure that medical services are easily accessible to all attendants. Radio communications with event organisers can also be arranged in order to ensure effective and fast communications.
