On September 14, badEM (Brave African Discussions in Emergency Medicine) will be hosting an open Emergency Medicine Symposium at the Stellenbosch Medical School, Tygerberg Medical Campus in Cape Town. This one-day symposium is free to anyone working in or studying emergency medicine or healthcare in the pre-hospital and hospital environment.
This one-day symposium will feature various subject matter experts presenting developments in emergency medicine as well as focusing on the provision of emergency care in an African setting.
The symposium will also have a dedicated section to discuss emergency care for paediatrics. Overall, the symposium hopes to promote the notion of collaboration in emergency care within the South African setting, not only on the day, but extending into the future.
